Trashy Friday! XO
A few weeks ago I found this great 90s flick on Netflix called “Love and a .45” . Think of it as a “Bonnie & Clyde” type vibe but set in the 90s with a bit more edge. I was instantly excited that Rory Cochrane was in this film along side Renee Zellweger, they both starred in Empire Record just the next year. However, one of the standout stars is Gil Bellows, who plays the “Clyde” to Renee’s “Bonnie”. The overall look and feel to this film is what I really miss about 90s indie cinema. There were no digital recordings and videos and the whole era had a sort of distorted, and almost “real life” quality about it. It’s streaming on Netflix right now and it definitely deserves a good chance.
